Hampshire County Group Insurance Trust (HCGIT) launched its worksite wellness program, The Wellness Initiative, in 2008 to help HCGIT subscribers and their families live healthier lives. Our unhealthy behaviors contribute to over 25% of healthcare costs. Some of this can easily be changed by eating healthier, getting more exercise, quitting smoking, learning how to manage stress and having appropriate medical screenings.
Wellable is the new fitness and nutrition tracking platform which will be launched on April 1, 2016. Subscribers of the Hampshire County Group Insurance Trust will be able to participate in the Spring and Fall Challenges utilizing this state of the art platform. Wellable is compatible with wearables (Jawbone, Fit Bit and Garmin) and over 30 apps on an iPhone and Android. Wellable can also be used on a desk top, laptop and tablet.
